I was born on the Italian side of the alps and grew up with a German mother and an Italian father, in the bilingual region, far north of Italy (Merano, South Tirol).

The fascination towards music, art, theater, circus and especially old photo cameras from my grandpa, grew since I was young.

 

After graduate from High School with a degree in Graphic Design I completed my three years training as a video cutter and sound designer at the ZeLIG School for documentary film, television and new media in 2010.

Soon after ZeLig, I entered the world of television, working for one and a half years as an editor and cameraman for the South Tyrolean TV stations SDF (in German) and Video33 (in Italian).

I moved to Vienna, Austria, in 2012, where I continued to work as a video editor in the main television channel of Austria (ORF).

My travels to India brought me back to this wonderful land almost every year and on my 8th trip (while documenting E-waste) I met my wife and moved to Bangalore in September 2018, where in June 2019 we said yes to a life together.

In 2022 I started my own company, HocusFocus, focused on company branding, video creation and graphic design.
